Allergic diseases are among common chronic disorders
                affecting lives of more than one billion people worldwide.
                Approximately, 20 to 30% of Indian population suffers
                from allergic rhinitis and 15% develop asthma. Currently,
                more than 25% of the total Indian population is sensitized
                with different forms of allergens such as pollens from
                trees, grass and weed, fungal spores, house dust mites,
                insect debris, animal epithelia, food.
              
                
                  The National Allergy Map database has been curated with
          the aim of providing a holistic overview of allergens
          prevalent in Indian population.
